1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of the website weckherlin.com and any communications or services arising from it. By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry, you accept these terms in full.

The website is operated by Dominik Weckherlin, PADI Course Director, based in Switzerland. Contact: dominik@weckherlin.com

2. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes relating to PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDC) and diving career services. You may use it to:

Learn about available IDC programmes and dates
Submit an enquiry or request an Info Pack
Contact Dominik Weckherlin regarding training
Access general information about PADI certifications and dive career pathways

You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that could damage, disable or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use of it.

3. Training Services

Enquiries submitted via this website do not constitute a binding training agreement. A formal agreement is established only upon:

Written confirmation of your IDC booking (by email or WhatsApp)
Receipt of the applicable deposit or course fee as agreed

All training is conducted in accordance with current PADI standards and procedures. PADI fees (eLearning, application fee, IE fee) are charged directly by PADI and are separate from Dominik Weckherlin's course fees.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation terms are communicated at the time of booking confirmation. As a general guide:

Cancellation 60+ days before IDC start: Full refund of deposit, minus any non-recoverable PADI fees.
Cancellation 30–59 days before IDC start: 50% of course fees retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation fewer than 30 days before IDC start: No refund of course fees. PADI fees are non-refundable regardless of timing.
Rescheduling: One free rescheduling is permitted with 60+ days' notice, subject to availability.

In cases of force majeure (illness, travel restrictions, natural disaster), cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Dominik Weckherlin directly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, brand assets, course materials and design — is the intellectual property of Dominik Weckherlin or used under licence from PADI. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use any content from this website without prior written permission.

PADI® and related trademarks are the property of Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Use of PADI trademarks on this site reflects Dominik Weckherlin's authorised status as a PADI Course Director.

6. Limitation of Liability

This website is provided on an "as is" basis. Dominik Weckherlin makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date but does not warrant that the website is free of errors or that it will be uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dominik Weckherlin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information provided herein.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, or for fraud.
